Mulch & Topsoil

Mulch

  • Hardwood (Triple Ground Root)
  • Black Dyed Mulch
  • Red Dyed Mulch
  • Playground Mulch

Topsoil

  • Top Soil (Screened)

Hardwood Mulch (Triple Ground Root)
The most pure, most premium, most popular hardwood we sell. Hardwood mulch looks like soil from afar as it suppresses weeds and weed germination when applied deep enough and also prevents water loss from around plants.  Hardwood Mulch breaks down to add nutrients to the soil.

Playground Mulch– Playground mulch is a softer type of mulch and is ideal for playgrounds or play areas for children.  This mulch is much softer and sometimes even made from recycled rubber to ensure child’s safety.

Black and Red Dyed Mulch – Dyed Mulch offers customers more options. This material is popular for customers who are looking for a longer lasting, moderately priced alternative with vivid color contrasts for residential and commercial applications. All dyed mulches are easy to handle and provide the same moisture conservation, temperature moderation, erosion abatement, and weed control characteristics as hardwood bark and cedar mulches.

Top Soil (Screened) – Screened Top Soil is mixed with minerals and composted material which creates a nutritious substrate for plants to grow in. In landscaping, fresh top soil is used for planting in gardens and flowerbeds. Bagged topsoil is basically a package of compost which is a good soil amendment.
